Dale Schnittjer Named Teledyne Chief Financial Officer
LOS ANGELES - January 28, 2004 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) today announced the appointment of Dale A. Schnittjer as vice president and chief financial officer. He has been serving as interim chief financial officer since July 2003 and will assume the new position immediately.
Schnittjer, 59, has held numerous senior financial positions during his 30-year tenure at Teledyne. "Dale has an extensive background in financial and operational controls," said Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. "His deep understanding of Teledyne's operations coupled with his solid financial reporting skills will benefit the company as we continue to grow."
Schnittjer also served as a financial executive at Allegheny Teledyne's Aerospace and Electronics segment before being appointed controller in 1999 at the time of Teledyne's spin-off from Allegheny Teledyne.
He holds an MBA from the University of Iowa and a B.S. in Business from Iowa State University.
