TELEDYNE BROWN NAMES REGNER VICE PRESIDENT OF DEFENSE SYSTEMS

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (November 8, 2007) — Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) today announced the promotion of John Regner, PhD, to Vice President of the Defense Systems group.

Regner, a 24 year employee of Teledyne Brown, is recognized worldwide as an expert in the area of systems analysis, engineering and modeling and simulation program development and management.

He reports directly to Rex D. Geveden, President of Teledyne Brown and is responsible for establishing the strategy, operational effectiveness and profitability of the Defense Systems group. He is also charged with overseeing and managing the group’s engineering, design and development activities.

Since 1983, John has successfully participated in and led our Modeling, Simulation and Analysis efforts and is viewed as a leader in the industry because of his work. Over the years, John had many successes at Teledyne Brown including definition of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) system and architecture requirements, end-to-end BMD simulation development, and applied operations research and analysis.

Regner holds a BS in engineering physics, an MS in physics and a PhD in physics all from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Regner has been married to Kathryn, for 24 years and they make their home in Huntsville.
